August 30th - september 6th 2025

We are thrilled to announce a new One Week Ashtanga Retreat with Paloma Tamayo on the beautiful island of Mallorca, Spain.

From August 30th to September 6th, 2025, Paloma will guide us through daily yoga sessions, meditation, and spiritual teachings that will nourish your body, mind, and soul.

You’ll be able to dive deeper with two Workshops that will help you build strength and flexibility to keep your yoga growth safe and injury-free.

Although Paloma’s style of teaching is traditional she also likes to encourage practitioners to find a practice that will benefit their bodies enabling adaptations or modifications of some postures whenever they have injuries or are unable to do the full version of a posture.

Nestled in the heart of the Balearic Sea, Mallorca boasts stunning landscapes, pristine beaches, and a tranquil atmosphere that lends itself perfectly to a retreat experience. The retreat will be held at a serene venue surrounded by nature's bounty, offering the perfect setting to disconnect from the stress of daily life and reconnect with your inner self.

In addition to the transformative yoga sessions, participants will have ample free time to explore the breathtaking surroundings, enjoy local cuisine, and partake in optional activities such as hiking, visiting beaches, or simply relaxing by the pool.

All levels are welcome!

ABOUT TEACHER

Paloma Tamayo

Paloma Tamayo is a committed practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga Yoga with a daily practice for more than 10 years.

She has traveled to Mysore, India, since 2017, where she has undertaken five immersive trips to study the profound philosophical and practical aspects of Ashtanga Yoga with Guru Sharath Jois. Through her commitment and dedication, Paloma achieved the authorization level 2 to teach this practice.

She has also studied Ayurveda in India at the Mysore Ayurveda and Wellness Centre, which is one of the world's oldest whole-body healing systems, based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, spirit, and environment.

She has taught as a guest teacher in different cities and countries, like Las Vegas, Spain, Turkey, and New York City.

She currently practices the full Advanced A (third) Series and a part of Advanced B (fourth series), which she learned from Eddie Stern in New York City, where she moved and ran the Mysore program for a year at Ashtanga Yoga New York.

Her style of teaching is traditional but she also likes to encourage practitioners to find a practice that will benefit their bodies enabling adaptations or modifications of some postures whenever they have injuries or are unable to do the full version of a posture.

During my stay and practice at Balearic Retreats I felt wrapped into the ancient energy of the place that tells the story of wonderful human beings that deeply care for the beauty of the moment, their land, their people, their guests, and the yogic path.
